Hi Everybody,
It has been another Covid precaution week at the clubhouse! Hope everyone is staying safe and covid free.. since all activity has been suspended with the exception of the Meetings there is not much to report.
There will be a 1pm AA Meeting this Sunday. Masks are required and if you don't have one, we have masks available at the sign in table. We have suspended dinners until further notice. Hopefully this will not last too long and we can resume activities. That means Saturday Movies are also cancelled until it is safe to gather in a group setting.
Last week we did hold all meetings and on Sunday four people played cards for a couple of hours. It was a surprise and great to see
Mark S. drop by for the meeting. (all the way from Florida) He and Danny L. resumed the card partnership with Delma W. and Gaeton R. It looks like they need a little practice as they lost two out of three games. Thank you John F. and Dan D. for taking down most of the outside decorations and Heather and Michelle P. for taking care of the inside decorations. Now to tackle the upstairs... any volunteers?
The Woman's Meeting enjoyed dinner at Pam's House last night and will resume meeting at the Clubhouse next Wednesday. Thanks for hosting dinner Pam. All wh attended had a great time. Next week, Darcy F. will again lead the women in the morse code bracelet making activity. Consider joining us at 5 pm. The new AA Meeting: Living Sober , Thursdays at 11:30 am has many people excited. In fact two or three people who attended last week are still talking about the impact one meeting on them. If you have been around the rooms a while, the meeting is really a good refresher. Consider trying that meeting out as well. See the list below for all meetings and times. Also, the on line meetings are still being held thanks to John B.
Sara M will be celebrating 27 years on January 30, maybe we can celebrate her birthday at the same time given the current Covid situation. Watch for details. Are there any other anniversaries we are missing?
