Hi Everybody:
Thanksgiving is just around the corner and we have decided we cannot meet to share our Traditional Thanksgiving meal. Thank-you to Sylvie M and Fr. Mark for helping us secure the Parish Hall. Hope something will change for Christmas but we will have to wait and see.
We are cooking dinner and will be serving the food take out only on Thanksgiving Day. Please call Sue L. or Michelle P. if you would like a homecooked Thanksgiving day meal . We have contacted Karen M. to help us cook and Michelle P will be her sidekick . So plans are underway! Even if you have a dinner lined up but would like a "leftover" meal the next day ... call us!! Also John B., has setup the Go to mtg on Thanksgiving Day from Noon until midnight . Drop in anytime, if no one is there re keep checking back. there is a scheduled meeting at 7pm .

Last week St. Johns Church invited the Clubhouse members to a Take out Spaghetti Dinner. Thirty members drove up and were treated to a delicious dinner. A big thank-you to the Parish Members for thinking of us. Sue L and Michelle P., helped distribute the food and really enjoyed seeing everyone.
Thanks to John B., who has set up a Virtual Holiday Giving Tree for the Clubhouse. As you recall we set up a tree every year asking for member donations to help defray Operational Expenses. Since we have not been open since March we have had to rethink what we need. John compiled a list that can be found on our website 39serenityplace.com. Sue L has already received a few calls with donations and will make arrangements for a drop off Just give a call. We welcome all donations even if you don't see it listed . Thanks John
Michelle P and Sue L are slowly cleaning clubhouse and welcome any volunteers to help. We can set up times so we can maintain a distance or be alone in the clubhouse. Thanks for volunteering everyone.
Finally, all of our meeting have move to on line given the recent outbreak in Massena . Please spread the word. The Tuesday night AA Mtg and Wednesday Al-Anon mtg. will announce when they will reopen. Jim R. has decided against opening the Thursday morning mtg. for now.
