Hi Everybody, We are slowing opening up the clubhouse and organizing events so hopefully the newsletter frequency will increase! I know John F. needs some reading material so we will do our best to accommodate him! The past two weeks the AA Meeting on Tuesday Night @ 7PM has doubled in size so we are off to a good start. Thank-you Alexis G. for opening up. The Alanon Meetings are also seeing increased numbers and newcomers. Those meetings are on Mondays @ 4:30 PM and Thursday at 6:00PM . We anticipate opening up more meetings as these first three become established. If you would like to volunteer to open up a meeting , please give us a call. We would also like to schedule a Sunday Meeting/Picnic at Barnhardt Beach . . The first available weekend is Sunday July 11 at 1:00 pm. so there is plenty of time to plan. Let Sue L know if you would like to help organize this event. Of course it would be a dish to pass and hotdogs/hamburgers would be available. Maybe we can get Darlene to make her famous Subs! Stay tuned for an update. Last week Josh S. helped Sue L start cleaning up the clubhouse. Its a big job since we haven't been open in so long. We have have made a lot of headway but still have a ways to go. Please donate an hour or two so we can get up and running smoothly by Fall. Thanks for your help Josh S. For those of you who order on Amazon please check out Amazon Smile . Some of your purchases may qualify for a clubhouse donation at no cost to you. Every penny helps! More next week ...... thinking positive!
