Because of the COVID-19 virus and the recommendations by local, state and federal government and public health officials, the Board of 39 Serenity Place is closing the clubhouse temporarily. We believe this is in the best interest of our community and members. We believe this is the best way to limit the spread of the virus - especially to those in our community who are vulnerable to severe illness or death from the virus.
We are now having online meetings. For information and directions, talk to other club members or CLICK HERE
Remember how we act can affect others.

WE OFFER HOPE
to our neighbors,
and to all who need it.
We are a nonprofit organization, 501c3, nonclinical, non religious, nonprofessional organization and are separate from Traditional 12 Step Programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous and Al-Anon. We are more than and not limited to just 12 Step Meetings. We are a safe and supportive sober clubhouse where you can be with and meet others recovering from alcoholism and other substance use disorders including those who have family or friends who suffer from those conditions, in a location that is 'right next door'; our mission is to support all who are interested in recovery, are currently in recovery, are struggling to stay in recovery or are returning from relapse. We are neighbors who volunteer our time, energy and money in support of the clubhouse and may have personal experience with or are in recovery. And like good neighbors, we invite those looking for more information, are in recovery or know friends or family affected to come and join us. We believe those with substance use problems or those who support them should be treated with respect and compassion and need not suffer alone or in silence or be ashamed of themselves. After all the disease of addiction is an illness, not a problem of willpower or character. We believe help and support should be available were it is needed most, in our neighborhood.
If interested, come see what we have to offer.
WHO WE ARE
WE BELIEVE IN
At 39 Serenity Place, we believe community involvement and face to face interaction is important. We host community dinners, usually on Sundays, so bring a dish to pass or just join us and share a meal with us in a safe environment. No one is turned away. We also have other group activities such as card games, camping outings, arts and crafts and day trips to local attractions. Sometimes we just talk about our day with each other and share a story. Join us and get involved.
You may also consider signing up for our 'Newsletter' to learn more about us in a nonthreatening manner. See the bottom of this page to signup. Or check out our Facebook page and 'like' or follow us.
WE HAVE RESOUCES FOR
